Growing up in Coastal Carolina it was always nice to escape to the mountains to enjoy the many attractions. We still love to go hiking, bike Cades Cove, take a whitewater rafting adventure and go site seeing through the National Park. From childhood to adulthood The Great Smoky Mountains have always brought joy and excitement. In 2013 we decided to purchase our first vacation home in beautiful Gatlinburg to make this area our home away from home. This became "Great Escape located at the Summit in Gatlinburg TN since then we have added four more properties to share with our guests. Our Great Escape Condo offers Spectacular views of Mt Le Conte and Downtown Gatlinburg, Knotty By Nature is our beautiful log cabin where we always hate to leave, "Higher Altitude" is a very cozy condo at the top of the mountain offering birds eye views of Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and very nice Mountain views, Little Bear Retreat and Dream Catcher located in Downtown Gatlinburg at Oak Square offers 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath that can sleep up to 4 guests this location offers free parking so that you can park and walk to all the attractions and restaurants that downtown offers. Our newest location is Black Bear Corner at Gatlinburg Townhomes on Baskin's Creek, this location offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms sleeping up to six guests. Black Bear is about a ten minute walk along Baskin's Creek to Downtown Gatlinburg, Parking is free at this location so you can park and walk or take the trolley to Ole Reds, the Ripley's Aquarium, Anekeesta and all the other downtown Gatlinburg Restaurants and attractions. All of our homes are located just a few minutes from The Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance and all the entertainment that Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains has to offer.
